Huiskamer van de kunstenaar consists of an exhibition series, that can be visited both night and day for 24 hours. Our aim is to bring the interaction with art back to the ways of the artist.
We create a living room in order to reduce the distance between the viewer and the artwork. In this gesamtkunstwerk, visitors are involved in the domestic rituals of a changing space; Participate in a tea ceremony, listen to mythical stories and engage in conversation with the artists, or simply sit back and do nothing.
It is fundamental that the space ensures for people to be together comfortably in a selfless manner. Huiskamer van de kunstenaar is an invitation to make yourself at home, take your time and relax.
